On 1 December we concluded one year of meetings with the helpful advice on how to get ready for the end of the PhD given by Florie Le Prieult and Steffen Storck. They both rehearsed their PhD defenses with us, and strongly suggest to do so, as it improved their presentations and gave them more confidence. In order to be fully ready for the end of this journey, they recommend to start planning our future careers early on and to keep informed about the regulations of our doctoral schools or faculties.
